Big Iron Tobacco was built on the life and rhythm of a Coast Guard helicopter rescue swimmer — a world where every second counts, every decision matters, and the tempo never slows down. Between missions, long flights, and salt-soaked gear, cigars became the one ritual that offered a moment of stillness. A way to reset, reflect, and appreciate real craftsmanship.

What began as a simple love for cigars turned into something deeper. I started hand-rolling in my kitchen, learning the craft leaf by leaf, studying what made a cigar burn clean, draw perfectly, and taste honest. Those late nights at the table were the foundation of what Big Iron Tobacco would become.

That passion grew into a mission: to bring the world of fine, hand-rolled cigars together with the grit, discipline, and adrenaline-filled lifestyle of a helicopter rescue swimmer. Today, Big Iron Tobacco partners with one of the top factories in the Dominican Republic, blending premium tobaccos with the same precision and pride demanded in the rescue community.
